(Newser) – Some two and a half decades after his Saturday Night Live heyday, Adam Sandler returned to his old stomping grounds—and took the opportunity to pay tribute to his former castmate, Chris Farley. In typical Sandler fashion, he did so in song, and the Washington Post notes that it will be familiar to anyone who's seen his Netflix comedy special, 100% Fresh. Sandler also brought back familiar characters including Opera Man, and an entire family reunion sketch in which alleged family members impersonated his characters from over the years. He also sang about his firing from SNL. Highlights in the video gallery. (Read more Saturday Night Live stories.)
