Natalie Portman took exception to Moby's claim that they dated when she was barely out of high school, and after some doubling down on the disputed excerpt from his book, the musician is now recognizing criticism against him as "very valid." In an Instagram post, Moby says that he should have "acted more responsibly and respectfully when Natalie and I first met almost 20 years ago" given their age difference, reports the Guardian. Saying he "tried to treat everyone I included" in his memoir "with dignity and respect," he acknowledges that it was truly inconsiderate for me to not let them know before the book was released. So for that I apologize, to Natalie, as well as the other people I wrote about." (More Natalie Portman stories.)
