Katy Perry has been keeping busy with more than recording songs and judging American Idol. The 35-year-old singer just released "Never Worn White," her new music video, which USA Today calls a "love song" to her fiance, 43-year-old Orlando Bloom. At the end of the video—which is about getting over her wariness on love, taking the plunge, getting married, and starting a family—Perry can be seen in the final frame cradling a seemingly with-child belly. She confirmed the pregnancy news in an Instagram Live video, in which she says she'll be "giving birth ... literally" over the summer to both a new album and a new baby.
"Let's just say it's gonna be a jam packed summer," she noted on Instagram. "omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore. or carry around a big purse lol," she added on Twitter. Perry's fans had been suspicious that pregnancy news was coming after Perry posted a four-second sneak peek at the video Wednesday, showing the part where she was rubbing her belly. Page Six reports that Perry and Bloom are set to marry in June in Japan, though the coronavirus outbreak there may put a dent in those plans. (Read more Katy Perry stories.)
