Paris Hilton says she is “devastated” over the loss of more than $2 million in jewelry stolen from her Los Angeles home last week. “I cannot believe someone broke into my home. They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace. I’m just thankful that I wasn’t there,” the heiress told Life & Style.

The missing baubles, which an insider described as millions of dollars in diamonds, family heirlooms, and more, could be recovered—surveillance cameras apparently caught the crook on tape. “The thief was wearing a black hoody and knew exactly where to go, like he’s been there before,” a source said. Hilton, who was out when the robbery occurred, expanded her security to three round-the-clock bodyguards. (More Paris Hilton stories.)
