Big-ticket Galaxy star David Beckham says the prognosis is "looking up" for an ankle that sidelined him for his US debut—and there's even a chance he could play as early as tonight. His match against D.C. United at RFK stadium is already sold out.

"I can see the light at the end of the tunnel," said the import megastar.  But Becks warned that he might not be bending it too far. "I don't want to set myself back another five or six weeks for 20 minutes on the field," he said. (More Los Angeles Galaxy stories.)
