Actor Owen Wilson went home Saturday from the hospital, where he had been recovering from a reported suicide attempt the previous Sunday. He is being closely watched by his brothers Andrew and Luke Wilson and other family and friends, according to People. Wilson is reportedly in “bad mental shape” but “happy that he was saved from himself.”

He will no longer be promoting his most recent film, The Darjeeling Limited, at the Venice Film Festival this week. He has also withdrawn from shooting Tropic Thunder, a comedy with Ben Stiller that was to begin shooting this month. Wilson was treated at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
