Second-seeded Kansas State survived a stiff challenge from No. 6 Xavier tonight, with the teams trading punches into a second overtime, where the Wildcats pulled out a 101-96 victory in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Kansas State (29-7) will face another upstart, fifth-seeded Butler, on Saturday, with a trip to the Final Four on the line.
