Nicollette Sheridan claims Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry smacked her in the face—but she’s not the only one who worked for a Hollywood nightmare boss. The Frisky dishes the dirt on nine more:

  1. James Cameron: Reportedly nails cell phones to the wall if they ring at the wrong time; once said he rarely fires employees because “firing is too merciful.” After Titanic, Kate Winslet said she’d never work with him again.
  2. Ben Stiller: Has an assistant carry around and prepare his super-specific iced tea, as well as a blow-dryer and other hair products.

  1. Ari Emanuel: The model for Ari Gold on Entourage; claims have been filed against him for racist and anti-gay remarks.
  2. Walt Disney: Underpaid employees, didn’t get along with labor unions, and turned in suspected communists to Sen. Joseph McCarthy. Oh, and he made anti-Semitic remarks, too.
