After lots of posturing, it's the result pretty much everybody expected: Derek Jeter will remain with the Yankees. He and the club agreed to a three-year deal that will pay him up to $51 million total, reports the Daily News. The deal also includes some kind of option for a fourth year. It's about a $2 million-a-year cut in salary, but still pretty good money for a 36-year-old shortstop coming off a lackluster year by his standards.
