Another tragedy in the skiing world: Canada's Nick Zoricic crashed during a World Cup run in Switzerland today and died of "severe neurotrama," reports AP. The 29-year-old "fell heavily just before the finish in the round of eight, crashing directly into the safety netting and thereafter lying motionless," says the International Ski Federaton. He was competing in a skicross event at Grindewald. His crash follows the January death of Winter X Games champ Sarah Burke in Utah. (More Nick Zoricic stories.)
