Mayim Bialik is a neuroscientist and a successful adult actress to boot, but the shorthand here unfortunately boils down to: "Blossom's getting a divorce." The former child star announced today that she and husband Michael Stone are splitting after nine years, reports TMZ. They have two kids, and Bialik previously made headlines for championing a brand of parenting that allows children to sleep with mom and dad.

"The hands-on style of parenting we practice played no role in the changes that led to this decision," said a statement from Bialik, who currently stars on Big Bang Theory. "Relationships are complicated no matter what style of parenting you choose."
