The Houston Rockets have their franchise-record 16th straight win in the bag after netting a 117-99 defeat of the Pacers. "But it doesn't stop there," promises Tracy McGrady, who had a game-high 25 points in the whole-team effort. The focus now is on the rival Mavericks, whom the Rockets face tonight, the Houston Chronicle reports. Elsewhere in the Association:

  • Utah had no trouble subduing the Timberwolves, posting both their biggest lead of the season (33 points, near the end of the fourth quarter) and their largest winning margin, at 105-76.
  • Sacramento remains winless within its division after an exhausting double-overtime loss to the Clippers, who followed Al Thornton to a 116-109 victory.
