The Force has weakened: After a four-week reign atop the box office, the latest in the Star Wars franchise toppled to No. 3 this week, courtesy of Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, and Ride Along 2, as well as a Revenant buoyed by 12 Oscar nominations. As USA Today reports, Ride Along 2 took in $34 million—short of the original's $41.5 million exactly two years ago—while Alejandro Iñarritu's Revenant grabbed $29.5 million, and The Force Awakens held on with $25.1 million. The latter now has $851 million in domestic box office receipts and is closing in on the $2 billion mark globally. Michael Bay's 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi opened in fourth place with $16 million, while Daddy's Home took fifth with $9.3 million. (Read more box office stories.)
