Michael Jace was sentenced Friday to 40 years to life in prison for the murder of his wife. Jace, who once played a police officer on The Shield, shot April Jace fatally—in front of their two young kids—at their LA home on May 19, 2014. He was reportedly unhappy because April wanted a divorce, and thought she was cheating on him. Jace was also convicted on a special allegation charge, or "gun enhancement," because he used a handgun in the killing, which added time to his sentence, NBC Los Angeles reports.
