Every adult who attends Philadelphia's parade for the Super Bowl champ Eagles can crack open a Bud Light if they'd like. The company will honor a pledge it made over the summer to that effect, when the odds of a Philly championship were long indeed, reports ESPN. It all began in July, when Eagles player Lane Johnson promised he'd be "giving out beer to everybody" if the team got on a roll and won the Super Bowl. Bud Light then saw a marketing opportunity and tweeted, "@LaneJohnson65 Let's make a bet. Win it all and the party is on us. Deal?"

The parade is on Thursday, notes DelawareOnline, though the logistics of the beer giveaway remained a little unclear. When the Phillies won the baseball championship, about 1 million people filled the city's streets on parade day. Of course, given the estimated price of $5 million for a 30-second Super Bowl commercial, the stunt may not be that expensive in the grand marketing scheme. (More Bud Light stories.)
