Actress pleads not guilty to battery, obstructing an officer in June incident

Heather Locklear now faces charges over her June arrest involving an alleged attack on a police officer. The former Melrose Place star, who allegedly punched a cop and EMT while heavily intoxicated at her home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., was charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting, obstructing, or delaying a police officer and two counts of misdemeanor battery on Thursday, reports USA Today. The charges follow five others stemming from a separate incident in February, per TMZ. The 56-year-old has pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on Sept. 27. (More Heather Locklear stories.)
