(Newser) – "The best horse did NOT win the Kentucky Derby," President Trump tweeted Sunday in criticizing the decision to disqualify the apparent winner, the Washington Post reports. Country House was declared the official winner after Maximum Security was disqualified for impeding other horses. "It was a rough and tumble race on a wet and sloppy track, actually, a beautiful thing to watch," the president said. "Only in these days of political correctness could such an overturn occur." (The favorite dropped out before just days before the race.)
