After one of Kevin Spacey's accusers died, it was not clear what would become of the lawsuit that accuser had filed against the actor. Now, the answer: Spacey has settled the suit from an anonymous massage therapist who accused Spacey of trying to kiss him and of twice forcing him to grab the actor's genitals during a massage in Malibu. After the accuser's September death, his son successfully petitioned the court to become special administrator, and then lawyers for both sides filed to dismiss the case with prejudice (meaning it can't be refiled).

Both sides agreed to pay their own costs, but no other details of the settlement were made public, per the Hollywood Reporter, and Page Six notes the deal still needs to be signed off on by a judge. After the man's death, prosecutors announced they would not be filing criminal charges in the matter. The Reporter notes that while the accuser's name is listed in court documents related to the latest proceedings, it is choosing not to reveal the accuser's identity. Variety says the accuser reportedly died of cancer. (Another Spacey accuser recently died by suicide.)
