Audiences are so excited about Heath Ledger’s last performance that many theaters have already sold out not only their midnight showings of The Dark Knight, but their 3am spots, as well. What’s a fanatical moviegoer to do? How about a dawn showing? Theaters in San Diego, Chicago, and even Eagan, Minn., are adding 6am screenings to accommodate the demand, the New York Times reports.

Selling out such late performances this far in advance would have been unheard of not long ago, but thanks to online ticket sellers like Fandango early tickets are easy to snag, and midnight showings have become blockbuster rituals. “In the public mind, opening weekends have been eventized,” said one Dark Knight producer. Ledger’s rumored brilliance as the Joker isn’t hurting sales, either. (More The Dark Knight stories.)
