The Chin Is In: Leno Will Stay at NBC

NBC will keep Jay Leno and give him a new talk show in its 10pm slot, sources tell Deadline Hollywood Daily. Leno had said he was "done" with NBC and regularly skewered network chief Jeff Zucker on the Tonight Show, fueling speculation that Leno would move to ABC. But it seems NBC could not afford to lose late night's No. 1 talk show host.

NBC's primetime ratings have been low, and a new Leno show comes without the cost of developing another program, the New York Times reports. Leno's new show will be similar to the Tonight Show, which Leno will leave in May, when Conan O'Brien takes over.
