Jon Returns Cash, But Kate Doesn't: Lawyer
Kate Gosselin, formerly of “Jon & Kate Plus 8” now renamed "Kate Plus Eight" on cable television's The Learning Channel, is interviewed by NBC "Today" television program co-host Meredith Vieira in New York Monday, Oct. 5, 2009.   (AP Photo/Richard Drew)

Jon Gosselin has returned enough of the $180,000 he withdrew from a family bank account to avoid being held in contempt of court, his lawyer says. The lawyer wouldn’t say how much Jon returned, but he did have the option to reserve some of the $180,000 if he showed it was put to “appropriate use.”
