History was not repeated yesterday, as Wisconsin's three game win streak at Ohio Stadium ended with a 38-17 Buckeye victory. Ohio State remains undefeated, the win propelling their record to 10-0, 6-0 against Big Ten teams. OSU's defense was sterling, allowing the Badgers a mere 12 rushing yards, as the Buckeyes roared back from a touchdown behind in the third quarter.

Chris Wells' three second half rushing touch downs put the Buckeyes back in the game, and then pushed them into the lead. He tied the game at 17 late in the third, before scoring again on the next drive. "The season was on the line," said offensive tackle Kirk Barton, "We've already had a one-loss season...We don't want another one." (More NCAA football stories.)
