We Still Love You, Lucy

The Stir pays homage to Lucille Ball on what would have been her 100th birthday. She was not only laugh-out-loud funny but a "bit of a rebel spirit and a pioneer in her day," writes Sheri Reed. Among other things, she was the first woman to run a big Hollywood studio, her own Desilu, and she was one of the first actresses to show her pregnancy on TV. To mark the day, Reed rounds up some of Ball's best quotes:
