Charlize: Jackson Is 'Coolest Kid Ever'

Charlize Theron lands on the cover of next month's British Vogue, and it doesn't take long for the interview to turn to her new little bundle of joy: Jackson, the baby boy she announced last month she'd adopted. And she's got the role of new mom down pat, it seems, because she crows that Jackson "is the coolest kid ever" to the mag. Other highlights, as reported in the Daily Mail:

• On starting a family: "I've always been very honest in saying I wanted a family. I've always known I wanted a family."

• On the mom she hopes to be: "I hope to be like my mom. Fair, tough, loving and supportive. My mom has made it possible for me to be who I am. Our family is everything. Her greatest skill was encouraging me to find my own person and own independence."
• Speaking of the new grandmother: "I don't think she could wait any longer!"
• On being born a decade too late: "I was too tall, too big, too late for the supermodel look of the '80s. Kate Moss and all the tiny, grungy girls had just become fashionable, and I didn’t fit the bill."
