Richard Hamilton led a balanced Detroit scoring attack that saw seven players reach double figures as the Pistons defeated the Wizards, 106-93. Hamilton had seven rebounds and nine assists to go along with his 20 points, which were enough to give him the 10th most in franchise history. Fellow UConn product Caron Butler scored 22 points to pace Washington, reports the AP. Elsewhere in the Association:

  • Memphis snapped a five-game losing streak with a 90-72 win over Indiana. Pau Gasol scored 30 points and grabbed 12 boards to lead the Grizzlies.
  • The Bulls improved to 3-1 under interim coach Jim Boylan with a 109-97 win over the Bobcats. Chicago rallied from a 12-point third quarter deficit to earn the victory.
