There's no bad blood between Howard Stern and Lena Dunham, even though last week the shock jock called the Girls creator "a little fat girl who kind of looks like Jonah Hill." Stern apologized Monday, explaining that he's actually a "superfan" of the HBO show, and invited Dunham to call into his show so he could explain himself. She did so yesterday, E! reports. She noted that while she's "a big fan of your particular brand of free speech," she had to take issue with Stern's comments about her weight. "I'm not that fat, Howard. I'm not super thin, but I'm thin for, like, Detroit!"

"You're not obese or anything," Stern conceded, quickly following that up with, "This is all coming out horribly." As for his feelings about Dunham, he told her, "I watched your show and I hated it at first, but I stuck with it and now I love it. ... And, yeah, I was disturbed by you naked, and now I like when you're naked. I don't know, I had a change of heart." He added, "Not only am I addicted, but I totally get you. I'm in love with you and your character. ... I'm a fan of yours. I love you and I think you're terrific." (More Howard Stern stories.)
