Most kids would probably be jealous of Claire Danes' childhood home, a loft in New York City in which there was "a trampoline, a trapeze, and a swing," she told Seth Meyers on Late Night Monday. But, as Time reports, Danes was actually "embarrassed" by her upbringing: "My cousins lived in Jersey, in this very kind of conventional setting, and every time I'd go to their house, they'd be like in a cul-de-sac, and I'd just, like, lust over their carpet," she said.

"They had stairs, and rooms, and a basement, in which they played video games," she continued. Now that she has kids of her own, they're being brought up in a normal house, but she said her husband made sure to get the family a "hammock chair" as a throwback to Danes' swing days.
