Cue up the tuba and mandolin for a big announcement from HBO. Per the Hollywood Reporter, Larry David and the gang—including Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, and JB Smoove—will be back for the ninth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, a full six years after the eighth season wrapped. The new 10-episode run will debut Oct. 1 at 10pm EDT, meaning we'll have to satisfy ourselves with fan reaction online—currently in overdrive—in the meantime. Hey, what's another two-plus months? Check out the trailer that came along with the news. The clip is 30 seconds of pure Curb, including its proclamation regarding Larry David: "He Left. He Did Nothing. He Returned."
