Whoopi Goldberg reassured her fans in a video Friday that she's recovering after coming "very, very close to death." The actress/comedian/talk show host, 63, has been away from The View for more than a month. "I had pneumonia, and I was septic. Pneumonia in both lungs," she said, per USA Today. "There was all kinds of stuff going on." She thanked fans in the video and told her talk show colleagues, "Ladies, I cannot wait to see y'all." Goldberg has not hosted the show since Feb. 6, and her co-hosts addressed her absence for the first time on Feb. 20, notes People. No word on when she'll return in person.
