Taylor Swift doesn't want to talk about having kids, thanks. Nearing 30, the "ME!" singer was asked by German news outlet RTL about whether she's preparing to settle down and become a mother. Her response, per People: "I really do not think men are asked that question when they turn 30, so I'm not going to answer that now." Swift, who's been dating actor Joe Alwyn for more than two years, did say she was looking forward to her 30th birthday in December, however.

"We are in our 20s looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes. And I definitely plan to try and fail things in my 30s as well. But I expect that in our 30s we feel a little better of who we are. The closer I get to it, the more I feel it happens," she said. Appropriately, Swift recently described her upcoming seventh album as "much more about me as a person" and about "taking that bunker down from around you that I felt like I had to put up," per Bustle. Meanwhile, Elle Australia calls the singer "a pro" at shutting down sexist critics, listing seven other examples. (More Taylor Swift stories.)
