Sen. Lindsey Graham says he's going to send Nancy Pelosi a letter that he hopes will stop her from "destroy[ing] the nation for no good." That's what she and her fellow House Democrats are doing in pursuing an impeachment inquiry, he says. "I want Nancy Pelosi to know that Republican senators are not going to impeach this president based on this transcript," he told Fox & Friends per the Hill, as they don't believe the call with Ukraine's president constitutes an impeachable offense.
He says he plans to get other Senate Republicans to pair their signatures with his before he sends it. His intended result? To get her to "stop now before she destroys the country." Politico reports Graham also again asked Pelosi to bring a resolution on the impeachment inquiry to the House floor for a vote, arguing that "you have to have a vote to make it legitimate." (Trump sent his own letter to Pelosi, and she responded.)
