Rudy Giuliani says he was just kidding when he referred to having an "insurance policy" to keep President Trump from turning on him. It's dirt on Joe Biden that will surface if anything happens to Giuliani, he tweeted Saturday. "Files in my safe about the Biden Family’s 4 decade monetizing" public office will show up "if I disappear," the president's personal lawyer wrote. Earlier mentions of an insurance policy were sarcastic, Giuliani said. The tweet followed a Fox News interview in which he said he wasn't worried that Trump would throw him "under the bus," Bloomberg reports. "He knows what I did was in order to defend him, not to dig up dirt on Biden," Giuliani said. Earlier in the day, he'd been asked if Trump is going to turn against him. "I say he isn’t, but I have insurance," Giuliani answered, per the Hill.

Giuliani's tweet also said his "RICO chart" would be released. The reference to the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act could imply that he has unreleased information he acquired while a US attorney. Giuliani didn't provide evidence for any of the statements. He also tweeted, without explanation, "The Mafia couldn’t kill me so NO, I am not worried about the swamp press!"
