Jussie Smollett has played Santa to Michigan children, surprising students at a school in Flint with toys and backpacks. The embattled actor made the deliveries with Mari Copeny, an activist known as Little Miss Flint, TMZ reports. Smollett also gave $10,000 to the Flint KIDS program.

Flint KIDS was among the charities he donated to last year at the holidays, per the Root. Residents of Flint have endured exposure to high levels of lead in their drinking water. (More Jussie Smollett stories.)
