Murdered model Jasmine Fiore wanted to get back together with ex-boyfriend Robert Hasman, he said this morning on Today. When Hasman heard Fiore’s suspected murderer, Ryan Jenkins, had killed himself, “I was happy,” he said. Fiore’s mother, Lisa Lepore, said of Jenkins, “He wanted to be something that he wasn’t. He wanted to be and have what Jasmine had.” Elsewhere:

  • A Pennsylvania woman whose disappearance led Kirstie Alley to offer a $25,000 reward was found dead yesterday, an apparent suicide, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Alley, who knows the woman’s husband, repeatedly tweeted her picture while she was missing.
  • What recession? Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are supersizing their London pad, spreading into the property next door to create a 33-room mansion. “Mind you, I wouldn't want to have to pay the council tax on the new house—but I don't suppose that will concern this particular couple,” a neighbor tells the Daily Mail.
  • Is love back in the air for Sarah Ferguson and her ex-husband? Probably not, but the Duchess of York and Prince Andrew holed up together in a secluded Spanish mansion after Fergie was humiliated by a recent documentary, the Daily Mail reports. The famously amicable exes have vacationed with their daughters before, but never alone.
