Sandra Bullock Is Highest-Paid Actress

Sandra Bullock had a tough year emotionally, but it wasn't so tough financially. She tops Forbes’ annual list of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses with $56 million in earnings between June 2009 and June 2010. The runners-up:

• Reese Witherspoon: Second with $32 million even though she hasn’t been seen on screen—only heard, in Monsters vs. Aliens—since 2008.
• Jennifer Aniston: Though some are begging her to stop starring in romantic comedies (many of which bomb), she came in fourth with $27 million.

• Angelina Jolie: Despite being in the gossip pages much more often than Julia Roberts, Jolie ties her for sixth place with $20 million.
• Kristen Stewart: In what is perhaps a sign of the coming apocalypse, the Twilight star snags the last spot in the top 10 with $12 million.
