After an hour of debate on policy issues, Wednesday night's debate turned to the accusations by women against Donald Trump—and he dismissed them as "lies and fiction." The allegations that he groped women "have largely been debunked," he said, adding that he suspected Hillary Clinton's "sleazy" campaign was behind them. “I didn’t even apologize to my wife, who’s sitting right here … because I didn’t do anything," he said. Clinton, meanwhile, countered that "Donald thinks belittling women makes him bigger ... and I don't think there's a woman anywhere who doesn't know what that feels like," reports Politico. To which Trump responded, "Nobody has more respect for women than I do." (More Donald Trump 2016 stories.)
