Camera-wielding neo-Nazis trash Serrano exhibit in Sweden

Andres Serrano, no stranger to controversy, has seen his current photography exhibition in a Swedish university town vandalized with crowbars and axes. But the latest incident of destruction had a new twist: The vandals who ran through Serrano's exhibition "The History of Sex" last week filmed their act of vandalism and posted the video on YouTube.

The vandals, believed to be part of a local neo-Nazi organization, screamed, "We don't support this!" as they destroyed seven photographs worth $200,000 at a gallery in the city of Lund. Serrano has faced conservative opposition before: his Piss Christ was a key battleground in the 1980s culture wars, and Jesse Helms famously called him "a jerk" on the Senate floor.
